Once Upon Olivia, Inc. was founded in loving memory of our daughter, Olivia Gale, who left this world far too soon at just three years old. Although her life was brief, the love she gave and the joy she brought into our lives continue to inspire everything we do.

 

Olivia was full of life. She loved all things pink and blue, twirling around in her favorite princess dresses, watching Minnie Mouse and Baby Shark on repeat, sneaking into Mommy’s makeup, riding on Daddy’s lap while he drove, and spending every chance she could with her beloved dogs. She had the sweetest smile, an infectious laugh, and a way of bringing happiness to everyone around her. She was our greatest blessing, and she will forever be our little girl.

 

When we lost Olivia, our lives changed in an instant. In the middle of unimaginable heartbreak, we were faced with making funeral arrangements while trying to process the loss of our precious daughter. No parent should ever have to carry the weight of financial stress while saying goodbye to their child.

 

During one of the darkest times in our lives, our community wrapped their arms around us in a way we will never forget. Friends, family, neighbors, and even complete strangers came together to help raise the money needed to give Olivia the beautiful farewell she deserved. Their generosity lifted a burden we never should have had to carry alone and reminded us that even in the deepest grief, there is still kindness, hope, and love.

 

That incredible outpouring of compassion became the foundation of Once Upon Olivia, Inc.

 

Our mission is to provide financial assistance for funeral and burial expenses to families who have lost a minor child. We exist so that parents can spend their time loving, honoring, and remembering their child instead of worrying about how they will afford a final goodbye. While we cannot take away the pain of losing a child, we can help lift one of the heaviest burdens a grieving family may face.

 

Today, we strive to be for other families what our community was for us. Every family we serve carries Olivia’s legacy forward. Every donation is an opportunity to extend the same compassion that was so generously shown to us. Through acts of kindness and love, we hope to remind grieving parents that they are not alone.
